Careers

Artists are an essential, civilizing force in society.  By challenging perceptions, deconstructing conventions and exploring the range of human experience, artists shape culture, instigate social or political reform, and enhance the quality of life for everyone.  As prominent members of the “Creative Class,” a term defined by economist and social scientist Richard Florida, artists also contribute significantly to the financial development of communities.  A Fine Arts BFA from Otis College of Art and Design provides a solid base on which to build a successful career and fulfilling life.

Otis fine arts alumni are recognized internationally in a variety of creative fields.  As artists, our graduates are both visionaries and respected professionals who pursue notable careers in the following areas.
