BA (UCLA, Art), MFA (Yale University, Painting & Printmaking), MA (History of Art, University College London). Nationally and internationally exhibited artist and writer. From 2009­10 was researcher in residence at the Jan van Eyck Academie, in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Recent work includes a book of essays co-edited with Kerstin Stakemeier entitled "Painting -- The Implicit Horizon," published by the Jan van Eyck Academie (2012)
