Born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania in 1929, Robert Crosson moved to California in 1944.  He eventually settled in Los Angeles where he spent most of his life working as a carpenter, house painter, and professional actor.  Crosson authored five volumes of poetry – Geographies, Abandoned Latitudes (with John Thomas and Paul Vangelisti), Calliope, The Blue Soprano, The Day Sam Goldwyn Stepped off the Train – and the chapbook In The Aethers of the Amazon.  Crosson died in 2001.
