Born in Marseilles, Hélène Sanguinetti wrote De la main gauche, exploratrice; D’ici, de ce berceau; and Alparegho, pareil-à-rien.  Hence This Cradle is Sanguinetti’s first book to appear in English.  Sanguinetti’s work has been widely anthologized in such notable collections as 49 poètes and L’Année Poétique 2005. She has also collaborated with artist Anna Baranek on an artbook, O III.  She lives in France.

Translator bio:

Ann Cefola is the author of Sugaring (2007).  Her translations have been published in Rhino and Paintbrush.
