Otis offers four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in Advertising Design, Architecture/Landscape/Interiors, Digital Media, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Painting, Photography, Product Design, Sculpture/New Genres, and Toy Design. Students in their first year take courses in the Foundation Program, and their studio work is complemented by Liberal Arts & Sciences courses. Eligible students may pursue an interdisciplinary studio concentration or a minor in sustainability, teacher credential preparation, cultural studies, community arts engagement, art history, creative writing, art history, or book arts. All students participate in Creative Action: An Integrated Learning Program, which involves interdisciplinary collaboration and site-based problem solving. Juniors may also participate in exchange programs in the U.S. and abroad.
Otis also offers Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) Degrees in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Public Practice, and Writing. Professional development and certificate programs are offered for non-degree students.The BFA and MFA degrees are accreditated by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and The National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). Otis is a member of the Association of Colleges of Art and Design.
