Academics

Otis' interdisciplinary curriculum embraces new technologies and emerging disciplines, combining these with established traditions with longtime strengths in fine arts and design.

Students in their first year take courses in the Foundation Program, and their studio work is complemented by Liberal Arts & Sciences courses. All students participate in the Integrated Learning program, which involves interdisciplinary collaboration and site-based problem solving. Juniors may also participate in exchange programs in the U.S. and abroad.

Otis also offers Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) Degrees in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Public Practice, and Writing. Professional development and certificate programs are offered for non-degree students.
