Published poetry and fiction in ZYZZYVA, Painted Bride Quarterly, Gargoyle, Fringe, Hobart, and other publications. Wrote and blogged for the Los Angeles Times, KPCC, and MNN.com, among others. Currently completing a poetry collection.
 

Siel has been teaching part-time at Otis since Fall 2011.
