"In the last Throes of Artistic Vision,” an installation by Graduate Public Practice Chair Suzanne Lacy, opens at Susanne Vielmetter Projects in Culver City on May 30. The work, created in 1980 for a performance series at LACE Gallery, "explores the bathos of artistic suffering intertwined with ruminations on violence and ambition."
