Pitzer College Art Galleries and the Claremont Museum of Art have organized an exhibition of Bas Jan Ader ('65, assumed to have perished at sea in 1975)'s work Suspended Between Laughter and Tears, guest curated by Pilar Tomkins Rivas. The exhibition includes video, photography, installations and archived materials from his estate.
