Join instructor Rebecca Kimmel as she takes you through the process of creating digital paintings using masterworks as reference. Copying masterworks is a time honored way in which artists throughout history have learned how to draw and paint. This tradition is continued into the digital age by creating paintings in Photoshop using figurative master paintings by various artists such as Michelangelo, Caravaggio and Rubens as visual reference. This hands-on course is taught in the Otis computer lab, and includes additional lab time on a sign-up basis at no additional cost. Prerequisite: None First class materials: TBD
