    2D Animation Principles: Advanced

    Students continue to explore 2D Animation principles and techniques using Adobe Flash CS4 as the primary tool. This advanced course focuses on character animation and storytelling as students apply principles of timing, weight, anticipation, posing, silhouette, and mood. Course also examines animation shorts and films for critique and to train the “animator’s eye”.

    Prerequisite: XDMA9146 2D Animation Principles: Flash; XILU6300 Character Design

    First class materials: 1 portable saving device (hard drive or memory stick) other materials may be needed as class progresses.
