    This course focuses on experimental drawing and painting techniques as applied to contemporary illustration. Projects use traditional mediums such as pen and ink, gouache, acrylic, and collage, to create non-traditional results. Course also explores techniques using sand, plexiglass, and Doc Martin’s inks. Students are required to draw and paint in class as well as provide thumbnails, refined sketches, color comps and finals.
