Digital Silkscreen: Creating Large Format Posters

Using computer-generated photo images, which can be translated to photo-emulsion screens, students learn to make large format silk-screened posters. The course covers one color or passes, multiple color, registration methods and editions. Also covers the history of poster production and historic types of hand-cut silkscreen stencils. Using this versatile and rich method of communication and self-expression, students produce at least two projects, including an edition of 10 each.
