Introduction to Photoshop: Ages 13-15
This course offers students an introduction to the tools and basic uses of Adobe Photoshop. Students learn how to scan, manipulate, and enhance photographic images, and are taught how to make “selections”, separate images into layers, and “clone” areas of photographs. Students look at examples of pre-Photoshop photography and collage, as well as current uses of Photoshop, such as print advertisements.
First class materials: Students must purchase a copy card through the Business Office for printing purposes. Copy cards are available in $10 and $20 amounts.
Please note: At the Goldsmith Campus, students check in at the Security Desk on the first day of class.
