Introduction to Digital Photography: Ages 13-15
Using new technology, students work in traditional themes of still life, portraiture, and documentation. Students learn to use the digital camera and the computer to edit and enhance their images. Using Adobe Photoshop, students explore color management, workflow, color correction,and compositing. Prior photography experience is helpful but not required.
First Class Materials: Students must purchase a copy card through the Business Office for printing purposes. Copy cards are available in $10 and $20 amounts.
• All students attending courses on the Goldsmith Campus must check in with Continuing Education staff in the lobby of the Ahmanson Building
• All Young Artist Workshop (YAW) students are required to submit a completed YAW Emergency Information Form prior to admittance into the classroom. (Students will not be permitted to attend without this.)
• For students attending both morning and afternoon classes, a mandatory fee of $50 is required for supervision during the lunch break (meals not included). The fee is paid upon check-in on the first day of each 2-week session.
