Continuing Education Course

Sculpture, Installation Art, and Sound: Ages 9-12

This summer sculpt, rattle, and roll by creating sculptures inspired by the musical instrument. Build with cardboard, wire, clay, and wood, while adding the element of sound to your creations. Course explores traditional instruments, such as the rain stick, hand drum, whistle and rattle, for inspiration as you create interactive sculptural installations.

First class materials: $35 lab fee payable to the instructor for supplies

IMPORTANT:
• All students attending courses on the Goldsmith Campus must check in with Continuing Education staff in the lobby of the Ahmanson Building.
• All Young Artist Workshop (YAW) students are required to submit a completed Pre-College Programs Emergency Contact Information Form and Policies and Procedures Acknowledgement of Receipt (last page) prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
