  • Professor Julia Czerniak is educated in both architecture and landscape architecture, and serves as Associate Dean at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University. Through her own design practice, CLEAR, and most recently as the former inaugural Director of UPSTATE: Syracuse’s SOA’s Center for Design, Research and Real-Estate, Julia’s  research and practice draw on the intersection of landscape and architecture.

  • Alumni from Otis, Art Center, and CalArts are invited to celebrate the holidays at our second annual alumni holiday mixer. Eat, drink, be merry, and enjoy live music! Alumni are invited to bring a guest, but this event is closed to the public.

Jane Castillo, MFA (sculpture) Claremont Graduate University, BA (Art Education) CSU Fullerton. LAUSD Credentialed Itinerant Visual Art Teacher. Solo exhibitions at Parque de los Pobladores - outdoor installation, San Jose, Tarryn Teresa Gallery, Los Angeles; Bandini Art, Culver City; The Hive, San Pedro. Group Exhibitions at Sur:Biennial - Cerritos College, California African American Museum, The Craft & Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles; MACLA, San Jose; The Museum of History and Art, Ontario; ASTO Museum of Art, Long Beach; Sejong Center, Korea. Awards include City of LA (C.O.L.A.) Individual Artist Fellowship and Visions from the New CA Award. Various public art projects in Los Angeles, San Jose, and Santa Clarita. Has served as Regional Director (Elementary Division) for the National Art Education Association. Author of the book LINE, 7 Elements of Art.
