Question: Whenever I insert my USB Flash Drive into a Mac, it launches Toast.

Answer - Your flash Drive is U3 Smart.

Answer - No. When you insert it on a PC (Windows) it creates two new drives. A removable media partition as well as what appears to windows to be a CD drive.
