Black-and-White Photography
Students explore the single-lens reflex camera, properties of black-and-white film, shooting techniques, film development, printing, and alternative processes. This concentration also examines photography's role as a cultural phenomenon and tool for documentation, representation, and self-expression. Students furnish their own 35mm camera, film, and paper.
