"During our three day workshop entitled ‘Deadline: Tonight!’ students took on the role of editors and had to make three analogue transformations of existing printed publications. For example a gossip magazine was transformed into a movie script, a newspaper into a puzzle book and finally a fashion magazine into an an art book. While the students could only work by hand we filled the days with lots of deadlines – as we all know, working under pressure does evolve in great results!
On the last day we pulled all our efforts together to make a book out of the final works by the students. As expected – a day filled with deadlines but worth the pain!"
