May 2, 2014
Spotlight Category: Faculty

Graduate Writing Faculty member Jen Hofer won a 2014 individual fellowship (C.O.L.A.) from the city of L.A.

They honor these creative visionaries and nurture the symbiotic relationship between L.A., its artists, its history, and its identity as an international arts capital. Hofer is a poet and translator whose work earned the 2012 Harold Morton Landon Translation Award from the Academy of American Poets for her translation of Myriam Moscona's Negro marfil/Ivory Black, published by Les Figues Press.
