Fashion design students, working with professional faculty and guest design mentors, are trained in all aspects of the design process. Working in teams, they create clothing for several mentors simultaneously, emulating the fashion design studio, and following the industry’s seasonal schedule. In 2011-12, among the outstanding professionals serving as mentors are David Meister, Morgane Le Fay, Michael Maccari for Armani Exchange, Scott Williams ('90) of NIKE, Red Carter ('92), and Bleu by Rod Beattie ('86), View runway shows.
