Chair of Graduate Public Practice Suzanne Lacy receonceptualizes her 1977 project “Three Weeks in May.” For the Getty’s Performance and Public Art Festival, part of Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980 from Jan 12-Feb 1. Lacy’s “Three Weeks in January” considers L.A. 30 years into the anti-rape movement. The L.A. Police Rape Map, which is updated daily, is at the Police Dept, 100 W 1st St. A candlelight ceremony takes place there on Jan 27 at 7 pm to honor the victims. Organized by LACE.
