Alumnus Sandow Birk ('88) has been transcibing the Qur'an for several years, and creating his own interpretation with Quaranic text and painted imagery of American events and environments. Twenty-five of his newest gouaches on paper from  "American Qur'an" are on display at alumna Eleana del Rio's gallery in Culver City From Feb 25 - April 7. Reception for the artist Feb 25, 6-8 pm.
