The Materials Collection: One Year and Counting!

For over a year now, the Millard Sheets Library has been developing a collection of materials aimed at introducing the Otis community to a wide variety of disparate materials. The materials collection is a place for random encounter with unusual, innovative materials. It is hoped that the unexpected juxtaposition of these items along with a tactile and visual experience of each sample, will stimulate the imagination, and create surprising connections and inventive insights. These materials are available for one week check-out for use in presentations, etc...

Thanks to generous manufacturers that have donated samples of their products, at one year old, our collection has become more diverse and robust. Come by and check it out!
