  • ACS printing services is located in the Ahmanson Building Rm 401.
  • Printing hours during the Fall & Spring semesters are

PRINT CARDS 

  • ACS printing services does not accept cash. In order to get your work printed you will need to purchase a COLOR CARD at the Business Office, located on the 2nd floor.
  • Business Office is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm and CLOSED on weekends. If you need to get color prints during the weekend make sure to buy your cards in advance.
  • You may purchase Color Cards in $10 and $20 increments plus tax.
  • If you are printing a poster and are not sure how many cards you need to purchase, use the Price Estimator to calculate the price.

  • Large Format prints must be paid in full when you submit a BIG COLOR REQUEST FORM and there will be NO REFUND. You may get credit for printer error.

BIG COLOR REQUEST FORM

  • Use the BIG COLOR REQUEST FORM to request a large format print for the Epson or HP printers
  • If you are printing multiple files use the BACK SIDE of the Big Color Request Form to list all files

 

SETTING UP YOUR FILES

  • Color Laser:

          - Print files must be saved as: .Ai, .eps, .pdf, .Tiff, .psd or .indd

          - The color mode on the files must be set to CMYK

          - All photoshop layers should be flattened and maximum of 300 dpi

          - Fonts must be outlined or included with the project.

          - Accepted Medias are: CD, DVD, ZIP, USB KEYS, & or EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES.

  • Large Format

          - Print files must be saved as: .Ai, .eps, .pdf, .psd or .tiff

          - The color mode on the files must be set to RGB

          - Fonts must be outlined or included with the project.

          - Accepted Medias are: CD, DVD or ZIP

          - If you would like your files to be printed with crop marks please make sure to set them up and specify it on your REQUEST FORM.

TURN-AROUND

  • Color Laser Prints - Same Day
  • Large Format - If the job is submitted by 4pm it will be ready for the next day. During Midterm and Final weeks it might take longer than a day, due to the volume of job orders that come in. Please ask one of our technicians for a time estimate on your job during those weeks.
