| Loyola Marymount University Loyola Policies |
Library access is limited at Loyola. Daily access fees are $5. If you live in Westchester (90045), you may allow you free access to the library. Be prepared to show an ID with local address. Any student may purchase a Loyola library card with limited borrowing privileges for a fee of $200 and a deposit of $100. |
| Los Angeles Public Library |
With an LAPL card, you can requisition materials from any branch in the entire LA area to be sent to a convenient local branch, including the Loyola Village Branch across the street. The resources are vast. This is an excellent option for many resource needs. There are also numerous full-text databases available through the LAPL site (with library card number). |
| County of Los Angeles Public Libraries | There's a branch in Marina del Rey and any California resident is eligible to borrow materials. This is L.A.'s other public library system, covering areas not counted as part of the actual city. |
| Beverly Hills Public Library |
Students can get a free library card with a California ID from a city within the metropolitan L.A. area. The Fine Arts Division of the Library is excellent with a large collection of books, video tapes, DVDs, compact discs, cassette tapes, a circulating slide library, sheet music, and CD-ROMs. |

Melvyl is a computer-based library system for the California Digital Library, a shared library of the University of California (UC). The Catalog database contains records for books and other materials owned by any of the UC campuses, including UCLA. It also contains records for the California State Library in Sacramento and several other California institutions. California Digital Library. |
| World Cat | WorldCat is the world's largest network of library content and services. If you find a book you want, you can find it in any member libraries near by. Otis and smaller libraries may have the book, but we aren't members, so it won't show up. |
