Financial Aid communicates with current students via the Otis student email account only. Students are expected to check their Otis email frequently in order to receive information about the financial aid application process and deadlines, missing documents and financial aid awards.

If you need specific information about your student, you must have the student submit a FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) Release Form giving us permission to speak with you.

In December of each year, we email students the financial aid application information for the following academic year. Students are encouraged to look for private scholarships during their winter break, and apply for the FAFSA in January of each year.

California students must submit the FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA Verification by March 2 of each year to be considered for Cal Grants.

Continuing students must submit the Otis Named Scholarship application by February 15 in order to be considered for these awards.
