A-    3.7
B+   3.3
B     3.0 above average
B-    2.7
C+   2.3
C     2.0 average
C-    1.7
D     1.0 below average
F      0.0 not passing

Note: As of September 1993, students in English courses ENGL 020, ENGL 050, ENGL 090,

ENGL 104, ENGL 105 and ENGL 106 must receive grades of “C” or better to be considered passing.

P 3.0 or better, pass
F 0.0 not passing

IP In Progress (Used for WRIT 790 only)
Students receiving below a 3.0 average should be given “F” (not passing) grades.
