Online Spring Readmit Registration Procedures

Spring 2013 Readmit Registration Process To register without any problems, follow each and every step in sequence!


Step 1: Advisement	Pay your $250 non-refundable tuition deposit. See your Major Studio Department Advisor to be advised Questions regarding Liberal Studies courses should be directed to LAS Department.

Step 2: Self Service	Go to www.otis.edu and click Current Students, select Self Service (under Quick Links). Click on Enter Secure Area, in User ID enter your Otis ID number (always use a capital X); then enter your PIN (case sensitive) and click Login.

Step 3: Financial Aid	Login and select the Financial Aid Tab. Select Eligibility for any outstanding documents or actions that need to be completed. If you have not accepted your award offer, please do so by selecting Award, then Award by Aid Year. Select the Student Records Tab, click on Tuition Statement then Select a Term. For questions regarding Financial Aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at otisaid@otis.edu.

Step 4: Check Holds	Select the Student Records Tab, and click on View Holds. Click [ Financial Aid Holds ] on the lower center of the page.

Step 5: Emergency Contact	Select the Personal Information Tab, click Emergency Notification Phone Number, then Submit (this must be done every semester). Click on Update Emergency Contacts and enter the requested information, then Submit. You are required to enter at least one emergency contact person, but may enter more than one contact person.

Step 6: Promissory Note Available Tuesday November 13, 2012	Select the Student Records Tab Select Sign your Otis Promissory Note; then Select a Term. Here you will electronically sign your Spring 2013 Otis Promissory Note by entering your Student ID number. Spring 2013 Promissory Note is available beginning Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

Step 7: Payments Deadline December 15, 2012	Your Tuition Balance: Select the Student Records Tab, click on Tuition Statement and Select a Term from the drop down menu. Pay student Balances Online through Self Service. Electronic Check (ACH) with no service fee. Master Card, American Express and Discover Card are accepted with a 2.75% service fee. (Visa is not accepted). Enroll in the Spring only 5-pay payment plan at TuitionPay.com Payments by phone are not accepted. Payments must be finalized by Saturday, December 15th or students will lose classes and have to Late Register beginning Thursday, January 3rd. Your account must be at zero balance to register for Spring 2013. For questions regarding tuition balance and payments, contact the Student Accounts Office at studentsaccounts@otis.edu.

Step 8: Online Registration November 19 through Friday, December 14, 2012 Mon - Fri 5 am to 10 pm	Students not familiar with online registration should start with the Online Registration Tutorial. Students register according to their designated Priority Dates (Priority Dates are based on the total units completed and your current semester credits). Check your Registration Priority dates. To register online go to Self Service, Login and select the Registration Tab. Click Add / Drop Classes, then Select Term (use drop down menu to choose semester you are registering for) click Submit, enter your Alternate Pin number you received from your Department Advisor. Register for your classes, by entering the 5 digit code in each box; then click Submit Changes to save your selections. Select the Registration Tab and click Concise Student Schedule and print your schedule for your records. Students who do not register online by Friday, December 14, 2012 will have to late register beginning Thursday, January 3, 2013 in person and will be charged a $275 Late Registration Fee. Any schedule changes (ADD/DROP) after December 14th must be authorized by the department chairs and done in person at the Registration Office beginning Thursday, January 3, 2013. For questions regarding adding and dropping classes, contact the Registration Office at registration@otis.edu. Once you have registered, double check your schedule carefully. Classes begin Monday, January 14, 2013.
