Student Activities includes all student club and organizations, the Student Government Association, management of the Student Lounge, campus-wide student events, and sport equipment checkout.
If you are interested in creating a new club/organization on campus, please download the Student Organization Handbook (pdf), fill it out, and return to Mike Luna, Director of Student Activities. If you have questions, please contact 310.846.2595.
Student Clubs & Organizations
Under the Baobob Tree - "Organization dedicated to the retention of students of African and Latin descent at Otis College of Art and Design."
The Books are Awesome Club - "Organization dedicated to focusing on the Narrative and the Art of Story Telling, Character Design and Book Construction.
AIGA - A student chapter of AIGA (a professional organization for design) that creates events and exhibitions and participates in studio/school visits and lectures sponsored by Otis.
Gay Straight Alliance - An organization designed to promote awareness and educate the Otis community about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and alternative sex and gender cultures. The group encourages acceptance, tolerance and self-pride within the Otis Community.
International Cimema (ICC) - The ICC Cinema Club watches, studies, and dicusses and critiques films of international importance, particularly in the field of the visual arts.
Korean Christian Club (KCC) - Korean Christian Club focuses on joining students together to create an intimate relationship with God and getting closer to God through Worship. The membership is open to all students regardless of nationality, religion, and various cultures.
