Parking Permits
Parking Permits are avaialable through the Office of Registration and Records. A parking permit must be displayed at all times when a car is parked on the College grounds. Cars without a vaild Otis parking permit will be cited and/or towed by the LAPD. Students are expect to follow all posted signs and placards and park in designated spaces only.
Tickets
Tickets will be issued to individuals parked in more than one space, in a reserved space, or in areas assigned for visitors, disabled persons, or carpool parking. All parking violations carry a minimum fine of $35.00. All student fines will be posted to student accounts. Some violations also carry additional fines assesed by the city and/or county government. Unpaid fines are considered holds on a student's account and will prevent the student from registering for classes, obtaining transcripts, and/or completing other College business.
Parking Appeals
All students who are interested in appealing their parking ticket, need to complete an appeal form. The Parking Ticket Appeal form can be obtained from the Office of Student Affairs. The Parking Ticket Appeal form will be reviewed by the Dean of Student Affairs and the Director of Operations.
