E-Portfolios at Otis
E-Portfolios are platforms for students, teachers, alumni, and departments to showcase their work and ideas. They are archives of learning, discovery, progress, achievement and reflection.
These e-portfolios are created in software we call O-Space (from Digication). Everyone in the Otis Community has access to the software and many people have more than one portfolio for different purposes.
The Library manages O-Space and trains people how to use it. If you need assistance, please contact Heather Cleary.
On August 17, 2009, we changed how users log into O-Space. Go to the new login page and enter your regular username and password. For more information, please refer to the O-Space FAQ.
The Learning Portfolio
Beginning in Fall 2009, many Otis students will begin keeping Learning Portfolios. This is a unique opportunity to actively connect content from different classes and reflect on what is being learned. This particular type of e-portfolio will be kept over all four year and become the the basis for a Senior Capstone course.
