Patterson Beckwith is a New York-based photographer and teacher. He received his BFA from Cooper Union in New York and his MFA in Photography from UCLA. His teaching experience includes NYU, Cooper Union, and Otis

Patterson has exhibited in L.A. (including the Hammer Museum), New York (including Andrew Kreps Gallery), San Francisco Paris Munich Basel Rome and Vienna, and curated exhibitions in L.A. and Glasgow. He has exhibited as part of the collaborative Art Club 2000 in the U.S., France, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. His editorial photography has been featured in Artforum, Art and Text, Jane, Index, Made in USA, and Vice.
