Faculty member Andrea Bowers show in LA Times

Christopher Knight, L.A. Times art critic, reviewed Political Landscape, an exhibition of Andrea Bowers work at Susanne Vielmetter L.A. Projects, calling her work "smart, blunt and compelling." One immense drawing, "No Olvidado," 10' tall and almost 100" wide, memoralizes the men, women and children who died trying to cross the border from Mexico to the U.S. Bowers is a member of the Graduate Public Practice faculty, and led a studio project this year entitled Love in a Cemetery.
