Graduate Fine Arts students visit France
04/22/11
As part of the Jeunes Talents project sponsored by the French Government Tourist Office, French Cultural Services, France-Los Angeles Exchange, and Rail Europe, Graduate fine arts students Brandy Wolfe and Christina Hendershaw visited Martinique and Rouen, respectively.
Brandy writes,
"On my first day on Martinique, I explored Fort-de-France. The Bibliothèque Schoelcher is a beautiful library overlooking the park, La Savanne, which, incidentally, contains the now headless statue of the Empress Josephine, who was born on Martinique."
