Still Doin’ It: Fanning the Flames of the Woman’s Building
Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16, 2011

Part symposium/convening/reunion, this two-day event offers a dialogue between feminist artists then and now.
Locations: Otis College of Art and Design / Antioch University / Skirball Cultural Center

Saturday, October 15 (All Saturday events are free)
1pm-3pm
: Share a Woman’s Building memory on video
3-4pm: Tour of the Otis exhibition Doin’ It in Public: Feminism and Art and the Woman’s Building with visiting scholars Alexandra Juhasz, Jennie Klein, Michelle Moravec, and Jenni Sorkin.

: Reception and 7pm  Reading with Woman’s Building Writers: Gloria Alvarez, Wanda Coleman, Eloise Klein Healy, Bia Lowe, Deena Metzger, Terry Wolverton, and Mitsuye Yamada

1:15-2:15pm: Facilitated group conversation led by Anne Swartz
2:15-2:30pm: Wrap up and Conclusion
