Eileen Cowin is an artist who sees living as a means to break boundaries, and psychology as a way to confront us with strange attitudes or to implicate us in seemingly self-imposed spatial confinements. –Art Papers April 2007 by Eve Wood

Creative Action Liberal Arts Elective

Creative Action Liberal Arts electives enable students to work in trans-disciplinary teams with a community partner. Emphasizing collaborative methodology, synthesizing diverse perspectives, creativity, critical thinking, clear communication and information literacy, students engage in issues that extend beyond the traditional classroom. See department for course offerings.

First Year Electives

*In addition to Independent Studies, electives may be taken from the offerings of Fine Arts, Liberal Arts and Sciences and other departments with departmental approval

Studio Electives

Students may select from a wide range of studio elective courses.  Electives change each semester to reflect development in the field and student interests. Core courses, outside of the student's area of concentration, may also be taken for elective credit.
