New Selfie Walls by Otis College Graduates Go Up at LAX

Travelers inside Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) were greeted this fall with a series of new “selfie” walls that feature student artwork by alumnx from both Otis College of Art and Design and Woodbury University. The project is a continuation of one that began in Otis’s Centennial year in 2018, in which graphics by then-students were installed in different terminals in the airport, and travelers were encouraged to take selfies in front of them and post their pics to social media.

New Student Work Debuts at LAX for "100percentLA" Selfie Campaign

This summer, travelers arriving and departing from LAX will be greeted by art and design work by six Otis College seniors from three departments through a partnership with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). LAWA has debuted original art and design work created by students for an annual summer selfie campaign, "100percentLA" organized by Guest Services to enhance the guest experience. Work from Woodbury University students is also included in the project.
