This is a five day professional development program for K-16 teachers focused on place based education, service learning and sustainability.   • I Know What You Did This Summer is a series of bi-weekly gatherings in the Bolsky Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design organized around informal slideshow presentations by curators, artists, writers and producers in the Los Angeles area. Taking the form of a personal travelogue, presenters will share places, experiences, and encounters during summer travel near and far. I Know What You Did This Summer is an occasion to enjoy drinks and conversation among friends, colleagues and our community.

Sammy Hoi Announces Plans to Step Down

Thomas Miller, chair of Otis' board of trustees, announced that Samuel Hoi will step down as president of Otis College of Art and Design (Otis) in early summer. Hoi has accepted the position of president at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore and will assume his new position on July 1st. Miller also announced that current provost Dr. Kerry Walk has been appointed interim president and will assume her duties upon Hoi’s departure in May. Search plans for the college’s next president are already in progress.
