I explore an alternate reality where the laws of nature and magic are inexorably tied. All the pieces I make take place or are tangentially related to this alternate reality that doesn’t seem to exist or function inside of our understanding of space and species. I am particularly interested in the transmutation of impossible, illegible information. There is an inevitable change that occurs when images are shifted from without into our perception. The shift manifests itself in the form of artifacts, anthropological items that embrace craft techniques, and obsolescent semiotics in a way that is both contemporary and archaic.
