Harkey grew up in San Diego and is now currently getting her BFA in Painting at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles under the Presidential Scholarship. Harkey interprets the mythologies of Celtic heritage, centered around the beautiful, powerful, and influential women notable during their given time. Her connections to Celtic history and Irish myth are central to her work.
