Publication documenting a compilation of curated images and articles from the 1992 LA Uprising. Touching on topics such as inequality, police brutality, and rebellion from multiple perspectives. The piece is to remember how the historical event shaped Los Angeles and the same topics are being echoed in today’s political climate.

My name is Alexa Ordonez, I am a Communication Arts major with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising. I have an interest in editorial design and web design, my work is highly influenced by music and culture.

A website designed to serve the function of being able to listen and discover hip hop music while being able to read about current music news. Inspired by the movement of a vinyl on a record player, tying in the roots of how people used to play music.
