Christina Paschall Rankin (Lilrodburner), is a Fine Arts character and creature designer graduating in May 2020 from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California. Christina earned a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Fine Arts Sculpture, 3D Modeling & Painting.

Christina attended The School of Arts and Enterprise (S.A.E.) in Pomona, California, The Patterson School and Hibriten High School in Lenoir, North Carolina. This educational background assisted in the transition of merging logical and creative visual arts perspectives.

Christina earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major in Sculpture and Ceramics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Christina was exposed to the industrial fueled regions throughout the southeastern United States. This exposure fulfilled a desire for combining engineering and sculpture. The artist participated in annual and bi-annual iron, bronze and aluminum pour conferences, conventions, sculpture competitions, exhibitions, museum commissions and artist residencies in metal art.

Christina’s experience within the 2 years at Otis includes working as a graduate Teaching Assistant for Sculpture in the Fine Arts Department, Experimental Filmmaking in the Media Department and Girls Rock L.A. in the Creative Action Department. Internships while at Otis included working as a Ben Maltz Gallery Intern, Proxy Gallery Curator, Proxy Gallery Website Editor, Gallery Preparator for Otis Communications Art Department, Special Events Ambassador for Jikei Com in Otis’ Extension Program and Open House Event Planning Preparator for Otis’ Extension Program. Christina’s interest is in a pop culture lineage in art and music that deals with heavy metal, the macabre, science fiction, gore and special effects.
