My name is Elaine Ko and I'm graduating from Otis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion Design. My interest is in womenswear especially dresses and tailored suits.
Outfit designs inspired by rainy garden
Color palettes are consisted of sage green, teal blue, and navy blue with hint of bright blue. Fabric choice is in mixture of prints and solid in chosen color palette. Designs include pleating that resembles vertical lines created when rain falls.
Garden Rain Designs
The main design focus of the final garment is the pleated ruffles around sleeves and neckline.  To figure out how it is going to sewn to the garment, paper pleats were first tested on dress form.  
Inspired by grid lines and dots on cement walls with the changes of colors and textures under yellow lighting.
Color palettes chosen from inspiration images: mostly light blue and grey in grid and pinstripe prints and solids with hint of blush and yellow

The collection for Pour Out Your Life On Me was originally designed for menswear and got converted to women's contemporary line.
