Faizah A. Rajput (She|Her) is a writer from Southern California. She has a BA in English Creative Writing from Cal State University San Bernardino, and an MFA in Writing from Otis College of Art and Design. She was a Los Angeles Review of Books 2019 Publishing Fellow, and has acted as Art Director for the 2019 LARB PUBLAB, an online publishing project for fellows. Faizah was nominated for a 2019 AICAD Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowship by Otis for her dedication to arts education and her passion for inclusion and diversity. Her memoir is about growing up as a first-generation Muslim American woman in a pre and post 9/11 world. Faizah has participated with the Los Angeles Writers and Poets Collective and Inlandia Writers group. She owns Badbride.Com, a site devoted to empowering women who have been held back by limiting social constructs.
