Hello, my name is Jordan Yoon and I am a concept artist graduating from Otis College of Art and Design with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Digital Media, with an emphasis in Game and Entertainment design. I have prior experience in the industry, having first interned at a video game studio as early as my sophomore year of high school and continuing to intern there for the next 2 summers. Currently, I work as a contract artist for Riot Games’s Merchandise team, where I design 2D concept art, including variations and orthographics. I am highly proficient in the Adobe Pipeline- most notably Photoshop- and have experience with 3D software like ZBrush and Maya, but am constantly striving and inspired to learn more and push myself further. I firmly believe teamwork, communication, and collaboration to be key components that lead to success and incorporate these practices in my daily life!

A fan-made visual rework of the existing League of Legends champion, Caitlyn: The Piltovan Sheriff. The objective of this visual rework focused on trying to redesign Caitlyn to match her description of being a high-ranking sheriff in Piltover- an innovative steampunk faction- while avoiding design choices seen in her current appearance. Things like having an exposed cleavage and miniskirt with bare legs seem... less than practical. Furthermore, I really focused on the whole “sheriff” motif, which I would argue the current design has no signs of and instead looks like a typical steampunk woman. Digitally painted in Photoshop.

A fan-made skin for the existing League of Legends champion, Ezreal: The Prodigal Explorer. The Dawnbringer and Nightbringer line of skins play with the ideas of “order” vs. “chaos”. For this fan-made skin, I decided to design Ezreal as a Dawnbringer. Digitally painted in Photoshop.

A fan-made visual rework of the existing League of Legends champion, Dr. Mundo: The Madman of Zaun. The objective of this visual rework was to redesign Dr. Mundo to fit the current art style and direction of the game. Dr. Mundo comes from the fictional land of Zaun; however, his current design shows no traces of Zaunite culture or machinery- I decided to fix this. In my rework, Mundo is a patient at an asylum and firmly believes he is a doctor after donning a straitjacket, which he believes to be his doctor’s coat. Digitally painted in Photoshop.
