Hello, my name is Neda Obaidan. I am an American-Qatari Graphic Designer graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts from Otis College of Art and Design in May 2020. I specialize in Editorial Design and Branding. I have a background in Fashion Design, as I feel it is necessary to speak in multiple languages of design. My favorite projects to work on, experiment with tactile materials and translating them onto digital spaces. I am a designer that thrives on storytelling and collaboration, helping clients communicate their narratives from a global viewpoint. 

A proposal for a future project that could go international, this campaign serves to show the relatable identities of women in specific regions of the world. The function of the website is to serve as an interactive publication that changes twice a year, according to the designated 'spotlight' region. The interactive publication uses atmospheric qualities in these women's' lives, using materials such as personal belongings, fabric, noises, environment, architecture, to create a multimedia space for the reader to discover.

A proposal for a social media campaign to end regional barriers preventing communication and relatability, translating tactile materials to digital worlds to create atmospheric perspectives into the lives of women in Qatar. This social media page functions to promote the interactive publication, interact with readers, as well as a way to gather content. 

This is a vinyl titled #Qatar created in honor of the women in Qatar and their identities to coincide with the interactive publication 'Thread.' The tracklist is a mix of voices from interviews, and environmental sounds to create a sensory experience for viewers.

This is an educational video made to promote the shift in architecture and society of Qatar. An immersive experience, the motive of the project is to discuss the change of the country and convey this middle ground of the two generations, that being the old and the new. The intention was to create a 'new' space that people could explore through the experience of the installation.

This a two-sided book that gives a contextual and informative insight as to the development of Qatar economically and socially. The comparative spreads, interact with each other to communicate the jump from one society to the other.
