Slide 1 of 8
My name is Qiuyu Wu. I am 22 years old, born in Beijing, China, and graduated from Otis College of Art and Design. My major is fashion design. My skills include sewing, adobe photoshop, pattern making, illustration and draping. For the past four years, I've spent most of my time on the working hard to improve my skills. In these four years, I have worked with three mentors, Bao Tranchi, A.L.C, and Ruth Carter. Working with them, I learned that they are very focused, serious, and love the industry. I think this is very important because curiosity and passion for a designer is indispensable. Being Chinese, I know the importance of culture to designers, and I hope to connect Chinese elements with fashion in my own way, so that more people can understand my culture. I am optimistic and confident. I think I'm a excellent team player, and I like to share ideas with others.
