A midcentury insurance building in Los Angeles finds a new life as Larchmont Charter High School's home.
The work of architects Chava Danielson and Eric Haas of DSH // architecture is featured in Dwell’s May 2015 issue.

A midcentury insurance building in Los Angeles finds a new life as Larchmont Charter High School's home. Preserving key elements of a 1955 Welton Becket–designed building, DSH // architecture's innovative adaptive reuse transformed the former New York Life Insurance headquarters into four stories of generous, light-filled classrooms, all with fresh air and views of the city.

Danielson and Haas will discuss the project, and their ideas on adaptive reuse, at Dwell on Design 2015.
