Students may transfer at SOPHOMORE level in spring, as well as fall, semester through Architecture/Landscape/Interiors JUMP-START path. Students transferring as SOPHOMORES in January 2019 may earn a B.F.A. in May 2021, in just 2-1/3 years of full-time study. You can download more information about the JUMP-START path.

The quality of the Architecture / Landscape / Interiors major is affirmed by our Advanced-standing Agreements, which allow graduates to start in the second year of three-year Master of Architecture I programs. Several A/L/I alumni have earned their Master of Architecture degrees in this manner: Jesus Aguilar (UIC 2016), Cristina Barrios (Woodbury 2008), Dolly Davis (UIC 2011), Justin Kim (USC 2013), Julia Sieh (USC 2017), and Sam Tanis (UIC 2013). Boo Y. Yang completed  a Master of Landscape Architecture with advanced standing at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2018. Architecture/Landscape/Interiors negotiated a new Advanced-standing Agreement with California College of the Arts in spring 2019!
